My Priorities
Excellent Education for Every Student
Whitefish Bay has a proud tradition of academic excellence. I want to help ensure that students continue to receive a rigorous, well-rounded education that prepares them for college, careers, and life.
Strong overall results matter, but so does understanding which students need more support. I would ask how district decisions affect opportunities for students across different grades, needs, and interests.
Responsible Investment and Long-Term Planning
Excellent schools depend on excellent educators, strong programs, and facilities that support learning. Maintaining those strengths takes planning and investment.
The Board also has a responsibility to taxpayers. I want major decisions to be guided by clear priorities, reliable information, open discussion of tradeoffs, and an understanding of long-term costs. Residents should be able to see what options were considered and why a decision was made.
Safe, Secure, and Supportive Schools
Students learn best when they feel safe and supported. Physical safety, student well-being, and preparation for emergencies should remain central to district planning.
That responsibility also extends to the technology schools use every day. The district holds sensitive information about students, families, and employees. My professional background would help me ask informed questions about cybersecurity, data protection, and how the district prepares for disruptions.
How I’ll Approach the Work
I’ll listen to residents with different perspectives, seek out the facts behind difficult decisions, and explain my reasoning. I won’t promise that every choice will be easy. I will commit to taking the responsibility seriously.
